In the largest health expansion since the Affordable Care Act, Medi-Cal will expand on January 1 to include low income undocumented people ages 26-49. In an effort to reach those who will be newly eligible for health insurance, AltaMed Health Services has been providing enrollment support in its clinics, speaking at community events and has trained street vendors to share the information with the communities they serve.
