Situation:

CalOptima Health, Orange County’s largest health insurer serving low-income communities, was receiving minimal coverage from the media. CalOptima wanted to raise awareness about their offerings and initiatives and their key role in health services for low-income populations.

Methodology:

Target local journalists, healthcare publications, and national outlets to pitch stories and expert commentary. CalOptima healthcare professionals provide insights on relevant topics through interviews and articles.

Results:

CalOptima was being featured in positive news stories almost weekly. There was a significant improvement in the public’s awareness of CalOptima’s services.
